MMO Lifestyle is looking to bring in some (a lot) of writers to help provide original content to the website and forums.

Have you ever said to yourself while reading a print magazine or another online site, “I want to read something different”? Well, now is your chance to help facilitate that. You have the power to make the content that you want to see. Or even if you like the standard game articles but wanted an outlet to try your hand at it. This is then also for you.

You can write reviews, interviews, editorials, blogs, short stories, rants, raves and so on. Basically, whatever you want to write about as long as it in someway reflects on MMORPG gaming. This is a volunteer position. MMO Lifestyle can not pay you directly. However, there are many fringe benefits that come with the position. To be considered for this, please send an e-mail to: writer [at] mmolifestyle dot com with all of the following information.

     1) Your first name

     2) Your MMO Lifestyle forum name (Make this first if you do not yet have one)

     3) The types of articles you wish to write (you may list up to three but are always welcome to cover others as well)

     4) The game(s) that you would like to cover (this is only needed if you plan to cover a specific game most of the time)

     5) A sample article (This should be sent as a Word document or, within the body of the e-mail).

Please note that this is not a application  type of article.  It is more of an intro of yourself to me.  That way I get to know what I can expect and have something to post that is already written by you, while we get you set up and acquainted with everything.

Not a professional writer? Not a problem! Go ahead and send your “stuff” in anyhow. We encourage amateur work and if you keep at it, you just may get better! Oh, we will accept submissions from professionals as well.

Is English not your first language? Who cares? Send your submissions in as well. Do not be shy about this. Take a chance and you may just find it more rewarding than you think. You will also be taking a step in helping to create a site based on the MMORPG community and delivering the content that you want to see.

Don’t want to be a writer?  That’s fine, we also need many “media hounds”.

A media hound is someone that sees a great thread on an official, guild or fan site forum and thinks it is news worthy and sends in the link.  Maybe they hear a great podcast or read a good blog post they think should be shared.
